I am a senior engineering manager with Retail Platforms at Nike Direct Engineering. As the retail platform team, we are responsible for building backend services for experiences which goes into Nike Stores. The experiences help our consumers find products, try them to make good choice and then finish up by buying them. We are spear heading Nike’s effort to diminish lines between physical retail stores and digital commerce. Lately, we were involved in building experiences for Nike House of Innovation in New York. The UO Career Center's Practice Interview Program is a safe place to practice interview skills, gain confidence and receive interview feedback from an experienced hiring professional. Guest employers volunteer their time to interview students and provide them with immediate feedback on their interviewing skills. Students will not be interviewing for a specific position but should be prepared to respond to general behavior interview questions.
NOTES ABOUT THIS NIKE TECH PANEL INTERVIEW (90 minutes)
- Students will be interviewing with 2-3 Nike tech guest employers in a panel-style interview.
- Each practice interview will be 90 MINUTES in length. DO NOT sign up for this practice interview if you can not commit to the time.
- Students should be prepared for a coding challenge, bring a LAPTOP, and a favorite IDE.
